While we cannot guarantee job placement, we are affiliated with the InspectionGo Community of Inspectors across the nation. These inspection companies are constantly looking for qualified candidates to work for their companies and look to the InspectionGo Academy as their main resource.

You should look at the Community Job Board for current job listings posted by Community members.

We know that your success is our business, so we provide unparalleled support both with technical aspects of home inspection as well as business development assistance. By joining the InspectionGo Community you will not only receive support, but also first-hand coaching from the most successful home inspection business owners in the nation. Community support is the most important difference between iGo Academy and every other school.

Starting with the teachers in your class we work with InspectionGo Approved Instructors who are also inspectors and business owners.

Your instructor will be the most qualified instructor/inspector in your market and will be able to talk to you about an inspection they performed yesterday and take you on inspections they will be performing tomorrow.

All instructors are certified or licensed in their states and part of an existing inspection company, either the owner or lead inspector.

InspectionGo’s Head of Education is Kevin O’Malley, one of the leading educators in-home inspection for over 35 years and the pioneer of home inspection training that has taught over 20,000 students.

iGo Academy records every class that we present and makes it available to students and alumni free of charge. You will be able to retake anything you missed, or review the material at any time.

iGo Academy also allows you to retake any course you paid for, free of charge, at any of our host locations as long as there is space available. Please call to confirm this availability 2 weeks prior to the class start.

This is an extremely valuable service that when performed properly can literally save home buyers thousands of dollars on their home purchase and possibly even save lives.

Home inspection is a skill that can be taken with you from state to state and company to company. Inspection skills can be used in multiple ways like inspecting homes, multi-family buildings, commercial buildings, insurance inspections, HOA inspections, and much more.

For anyone who loves getting outside, working with people, seeing new architecture and controlling their own time, this is a great career opportunity.

Home inspection can be a lucrative career working for an existing company or building your own business. It also has relatively low startup costs.

The average age of a home inspector is 55+ so many home inspectors will retire over the next 5 years leaving a big gap in the inspection workforce that you can fill.

Industry surveys review an average annual salary of around $60,000 for a full-time inspector.

Part-time inspectors doing one job a week at $450 per inspection can earn an extra $22,000 in their spare time.

The InspectionGo Community has some of the most successful businesses as members and many of them gross over a million dollars a year.

This opportunity is great as an employee or business startup.

Here’s What Our Community is Saying

"The benefits of this academy are the hands-on training and things that the books won’t teach you as far as time management, trying to market yourself, and being as thorough as possible."
