InspectionGo Launches iGo Academy

Schools To Deliver a Higher Standard of Training,

Facilitate Growth for Partner Home Inspection Companies

Tyrone, PA, June 15, 2020.  InspectionGo is excited to announce the launch of InspectionGo Academy.  The Academy will partner with home inspection companies across the nation to accelerate their growth by delivering a steady influx of new, highly-trained home inspectors.  In turn, students will have access to a rich curriculum that includes in-the-field learning, a direct connection with hiring firms, and access to the iGo community of inspection companies.

InspectionGo Academy will launch in 16 states initially, with both on-site and online courses available. Both versions of the course include field training at Partner Home Inspection Companies to ensure critical hands-on experience for every student.  The first InspectionGo Academy course will be held online in July, 2020. The first on-site course will be delivered in partnership with Waypoint Property Inspection in Hillsborough County, FL in August, 2020.

“One of the greatest barriers to growth for our firm is hiring quality trained professional home inspectors.  Today’s schools are created to help students pass an exam, but aren’t designed to help them succeed in the profession,” said Bob Hintze, CEO of Waypoint Property Inspection.  “We are excited to partner with iGo to solve the challenge, and further position Waypoint as the leader in our market.”

John Russell, CEO and co-founder of InspectionGo, is looking forward to welcoming InspectionGo Academy graduates into the iGo Community. “Our community of independent home inspectors and coaches will help our graduates with job placement, career development, and overall support,” Russell says. “The value of InspectionGo Academy is truly a two-way street in that our community needs qualified candidates for employment, and students need stronger training and support than the other options available today.”

Last year, InspectionGo acquired Axium Academy, founded by Wade Williamson, now the Vice President of Product Strategy at InspectionGo.  Williamson created Axium Academy to train new inspectors as required for growing his own inspection company Axium Inspections, Colorado’s largest inspection firm, based in Denver. InspectionGo built on the success of Axium Academy with an all-new course curriculum and an extended operational model to benefit a national audience and is now relaunching as InspectionGo Academy.

“I am incredibly excited to work with InspectionGo to expand the reach of high-quality inspector training for all of the iGo Community Members,” says Williamson. “Now, the same levels of quality and rigor that I built at Axium Academy will be available to students and independent inspection companies nationwide.”
