I was nervous going into the class unsure if I was going to be able to understand all that was taught. After the class with Bob, Steve and Oliver I feel more prepared and have a better understanding than I thought I would. Great course to take and glad I had them as instructors.

Any reservations that I may have had about having the right capabilities to be a qualified “Home Inspector” where replaced with technical knowledge, fact, and proven standard methods of operation, that will make me successful in my new career.. Our IGo Academy instructors did an awesome job, instructing numerous students, from various backgrounds, and at various stages of their lives. Our instructor (Steve Helm & Oliver Peebles) did a great job conducting our class from start to finish. They provided a clear and concise outline of what to expect, and what was expected of each one of us. Their Communication style was easy to understand, and the ability to ask questions and interact with them and the rest of the class was simple, and made for great interaction.

I had literally zero experience with, or knowledge of, construction methods, HVAC, electrical, etc. going into this course. Now a few weeks later, I feel confident that I can inspect and report on these systems within the scope of a home inspection.

First off – this isn’t a paid promotion/bot account of iGo, these are my true feelings after completing the first part of the certification process.
This class and process is not going to be easy, though I feel it will absolutely be worth it. There is no dip your toes in and get adjusted to the water – it is a full on dive into the deep end! There is a lot to learn in this class, and at times it feels as if there is so much information for you to absorb that you feel like you are a glass full of water and someone keeps pouring!
My teaching team of Bob Hintze, Steve Helm and Oliver Peebles have found a way to turn the water off and let me soak in the floods of information by simplifying and providing real world experience/examples to what they are teaching. It made the overwhelming feeling ease away and inspired confidence.
Each day was something new and I was impressed at Bob’s, Steve’s and Oliver’s dedication and persistence through the class to teach us all of the material that they did! Thank you three for the lessons and the laughs!

I was recommended to this school by a company that if I choose to work for them will reimburse me for tuition. Even with that I still did a good bit of research to figure out what was best for me. I thought about doing a self paced course mainly because of cost but I knew for me live classes would work better and I didn’t want to spend months on self paced stuff. I also know for me if I get stumped about something I much prefer having someone right in front of me to ask the question rather than trying to track someone down. I have been in the construction field for over 20 years and I can’t believe how little I actually knew. But I do now. Yes this is a forever learning career but I now feel confident I can give clients good accurate information. I also love that the HIP software is included for 5 months. It’s allowed me to actually practice stuff I’m learning while taking the classes and I love the software. I will definitely be keeping it after the 5 months. If you’re serious about making home inspecting a career I highly recommend considering igoacademy.

Bob, Steve, and Oliver have done an amazing job describing what is expected of a home inspector along with great personal experience that helps widen the knowledge from the required lessons. Great class- very knowledgeable instructors

I was looking to change careers. I was tired of sitting at a desk all day trying to sell products a thousand other companies were selling. I became interested in Home Inspection and was blessed to find my way to InspectionGo Academy. At first I was hesitant because of the cost, compared to other training institutions. The training was very thorough, inclusive and actually fun. It wasn’t all easy for me and I had to apply myself but I learned a ton and felt very confident with the new knowledge I gained. During the field trips I took with actual Home Inspectors, who had years of experience, I was told they didn’t have an InspectionGo Academy to attend in those days and they had to learn the hard way. Inspectors told me they were impressed by the knowledge InspectionGo Academy Graduates had to start off their careers. They wished they had the opportunity to go to an InspectionGo Academy when they first started. If you’re considering getting in to Home Inspection, your money won’t be wasted by training with InspectionGo. They are there for you even after you graduate and will help advise and mentor you.
