CEO of Waypoint Property Inspection and iGo Academy’s Inaugural Instructor To Expand Role at iGo
iGo is excited to announce Bob Hintze has landed a new role leading iGo Academy’s home inspector education. iGo Academy operates in 20 states through partnerships with leading home inspection companies across the nation, who serve as instructors and hosts for home inspection pre-licensing and ancillary courses. The Academy offers the nation’s only leading home inspection training that blends the quality of live instruction by experienced instructors with the flexibility of online access via Zoom. In Bob’s new capacity with iGo Academy, he will be responsible for the Academy’s overall course curricula and instructors.
“We are thrilled to bring Bob’s expertise and passion to the forefront of our Academy leadership team,” said John Russell, CEO of InspectionGo. “From the beginning, we set out to make iGo Academy the absolute best home inspection training program available. We are proud of the quality of education we’re able to provide today, and that is largely due to our incredible instructors. With Bob taking the helm of our educational programs, we are confident we will be able to continue to expand the quality and quantity of courses we provide.”
Bob Hintze, CEO of Waypoint Property Inspection of Tampa, FL was the first instruction partner at iGo Academy’s inception in March, 2020. Additional instruction teams are led by Wade Williamson, CEO of Axium Inspections in Denver, CO, David Sherwood, CEO of Sherwood Inspections of Hartford, CT, and John Tyler, CEO of Checklist Inspections of Gilbert, AZ.
“Since serving as an iGo Academy instructor, I have discovered my passion for helping students find a rewarding career in home inspection,” said Bob Hintze. “I’m honored to have the opportunity to chart the path forward for iGo Academy and I’m truly looking forward to working with iGo and our tremendous team of instructors to drive continued innovation and student success.”
iGo Academy has roots in Axium Academy, originally operated by Wade Williamson out of Denver, CO. Axium Academy was acquired by iGo in 2019 with Wade taking an executive role with iGo as the VP of Product Strategy. Together and alongside other industry leaders, they created iGo Academy with all-new content on a modern learning management system to help solve the industry’s need for qualified inspectors to meet market opportunities, and specifically to meet the needs of iGo’s community of home inspection companies who were experiencing difficulty hiring to meet client demands and grow their companies.
iGo also provides Recruiting services for home inspection companies, drawing a quality pool of talented new home inspectors through various approaches including digital marketing and iGo Academy graduates. Nearly 100 home inspectors have been hired through iGo Recruiting by members of the community since the Recruiting service launched in the summer of 2020.
